Nokia Introduces two New Entry-Level Smartphones

On its official blog, the Finnish manufacturer Nokia announced the release of two new mobile phones, input range: C2-01 and the X2-01. Among all 3G compatible handsets, the Nokia C2-01 is the cheapest in its class. With a small two-inch display, the terminal runs Symbian S40 and has a conventional numeric keypad. The back of the phone has a camera of 3.2 megapixels. In addition to an integrated music player and FM radio, we find the Bluetooth connection and an SD card reader. Software side C2-01 embarks Messaging Nokia combining email, SMS and instant messaging. The mobinaute can also access the Ovi Store to download new applications, but also buy music albums.

C2-01 is available in some European markets in the first quarter of 2011. For its part, the X2-01 incorporates the feel of a BlackBerry with a full keyboard. Targeting users of community networks, the entry-level smartphone includes Communities application to optimize the integration of the Facebook network. The X2-01 features a 2.4-inch QVGA screen, a 3.5 mm jack port, a camera and an SD card reader. Note however that it is not compatible 3G or WiFi.

Also with the integration of Ovi Store and the same multimedia features than its predecessor, the X2-01 is expected this quarter.
