Facebook has gone on to enhance its face detection feature, launched in July, and has come up with a new feature called “tag suggestions“. The new feature makes use of face recognition technology to suggest which friend is probably featured in which photo.
Facebook developers said about their upcoming Face Recognition technology that it will surely helpful for the users because it will provide tag suggestion feature which allows the users to customize their photos or images through tagging. The developers also said that the upcoming facial recognition technology is more easy to use and also allows the multiple features to users that perform more effectively and efficiently in Facebook platform. Facebook said on this latest development that we know our users always expect new and exciting things for us and we will not let them down.
If you’re concerned about your privacy, you can turn this feature off. “If for any reason you don’t want your name to be suggested, you will be able to disable suggested tags in your Privacy Settings. Just click “Customize Settings” and “Suggest photos of me to friends.” Your name will no longer be suggested in photo tags, though friends can still tag you manually,” Facebook said.
Many experts said that the latest upcoming Facebook Facial Recognition technology will launch in United States in coming days. I am happy now because if this feature integrate by Facebook to social platform it will really helpful for us just simple tagging the millions of photos on our profiles.
