Verizon is all set to make 4G service live on 5th December this year (Christmas gift!!). Verizon is already providing amazing 3G service. Verizon’s 4G LTE (Long Term Evolution) Network will be launched in 38 major metropolitan areas, covering more than 110 million Americans, before the end of the year. Also LTE services will be setup initially at 60 major airports across America. Verizon expects to out-grow their own 3G network by 2013 end.
Initially 4G internet connections will be available for only laptops soon followed by two USB modems. Verizon has also released the 4G plans out which are a bit expensive compared to 3G plans they provide, currently with no unlimited plans. Verizon’s 4G LTE network will come live with two plans with 5 GB and 10GB of data uses.
Plan tariffs:
- 5GB data transfer at 50$
- 10 data transfer at 80$
