BlackBerry Torch 2 and Storm 3

RIM is all set to launch of its high end smartphones BlackBerry Torch 2 and BlackBerry Storm 2. The leaked specs and images of the new models, the BlackBerry Torch 2 and Storm 3.

The BlackBerry Torch 2 will have a much faster 1.2GHz processor. It will come in a shiny silver color and sport a 5 megapixel camera with flash. Other specifications include a 3.2 inch capacitive touchscreen, optical trackpad, 512MB of RAM, 8GB of built-in memory, Accelerometer, Proximity sensor, GPS, NFC, Magnetometer and a 1300mAh battery. The smartphone will run BlackBerry OS 6.1.

The BlackBerry Storm 3 could be the first BlackBerry to run QNX operating system. It will have the same 1.2GHz processor, a 3.7 inch capacitive display, optical trackpad and a 5 megapixel camera. Other specifications include 512MB of RAM, microSD card slot, Proximity sensor, Magnetometer, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR and an Accelerometer.

The BlackBerry Storm 3 is expected to hit the air waves around September. The Torch 2 will hit the stores sometime in the third quarter of this year on AT&T.
