Other World Computing has unveiled the new Mercury Pro Aura SSD hard drives at Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas. The new Mercury Pro Aura SSD hard drive has been designed particularly for first generation MacBook Air models.
The new Mercury Pro Aura SSD drives comes in 1.8-inch form factor and uses sand-force SF-1200 controller. Furthermore, the new SSD drive is fully capable to offer reading capacity up to 285MB per second and writing performance up to 275MB per second. In addition,it comes with SATA 3.0Gbps interface and 50,000 IOPS.
Mercury Aura Pro SSD drives price
The new Mercury Aura Pro SSD drives will come in market with different variants which includes 60GB, 120GB and 240GB and 480GB with estimated price of $199.99, $249.99, $529.99 respectively.
