
Samsung Star II aka Samsung S5260 is the sequel to the Samsung Star. It features a slightly new design and has WiFi on-board. But in terms of specs, it isn’t all that different from its predecessor.
The Samsung Star II has a 3 inch touchscreen display, a 3.2 megapixel camera and a microSD card slot for expanding storage. It runs Samsung TouchWiz user interface.
The Samsung Star II is designed for the GSM network. The 3 inch TFT display has a resolution of 240 x 400 pixels. The handset comes standard with a 1000 mAh battery. There is a microSD card slot for expanding memory to 16GB. Other specifications include Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, microUSB 2.0 port, and accelerometer.
Samsung Star II was announced on January 18th, 2011. It is expected to be available in the US on February 1st.
