Fans Pages on Facebook redesigned

Explaining that Facebook, indeed since the beginning already have the desire to redesign Facebook Fans Pages. The fundamental difference is that the new layout. Left menu to edit the fans page has been moved into a new navigation system that replaces the old tab. Then, box information on the left have now been removed.

Menu on the right also has been replaced. Now there is a section that shows a page from the admin, also a section to the user what their friends are ‘like’ page. Just like the profile, a page can now put the pictures on the top.

There are some differences between Facebook newest pages, when compared with the old version, especially in the admin page. Features “Login as Page” give admins the ability to interact with Facebook as a page, not as an individual.

Another update is, Facebook add a filter Everyone which presents the most interesting posts from the community page to the top of the page page. This makes it easier for users and admins to find what is most in-’liked’ on the page. The new interface is also quite accurate to filter out posts that are not written in a language that is used by the user.

The new design was launched today as a preview for the admin Facebook Page. Before the replace, the user can check what their pages will be visible. Facebook is also launching a Page Tour and a manual to explain the new design. The admins have until the 10th of March, before Facebook automatically update all the pages with new designs.
