
Google is known for putting up mascots of the versions of Android OS on its campus. Now, the Android 3.0 Honeycomb mascot has landed at the Building 44 on Google’s Mountain View California campus. More on that, after the break.
You can see the video below which reveals that Android 3.0 Honeycomb statue arriving at Google headquarter and it is being received by Google employees.
For those who don’t know, Android 3.0 Honeycomb is new version of mobile operating system specially optimized for tablet PC. But now Google has recently split Android into two formats: smartphone (Android 2.x) and tablet (Android 3.x). There is also a possibility that search giant will merge both versions of Android together at Android 4.x
Android 3.0 Honeycomb is the tablet-optimized version of Android, the first device of which is the Motorola Xoom, while others including the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 were revealed at the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
