iPad2 Glass 27% better Thinner, but Stronger then iPad1

We already know that iPad 2 is 27% thinner then first generation iPad. But when it comes to the glass front end it was assumed that iPad 2 would be weaker then iPad 1. It has already been reveled that the iPad 2 has 8.8mm width which is much thinner then iPhone 4.

But a new test by folks at iFixYouri shows that iPad 2 glass screen is in fact stronger than iPad 1 even though its thinner. For those who don’t know that iPad 2 width has went from 13.4mm to 8.8mm which is 27% thinner from the original iPad. But much thinner glass of iPad 2 doesnt’ mean it is vulnerable to break. Instead now it has become much more flexible and more bending tolerance then the first generation iPad.
