NASA launched the sophisticated robots ‘Curiosity‘ to Mars. Roobot is tasked to find proof of life on the planet. This robot is transported by unmanned rocket, the Atlas V. To get to Mars, Couriosity have to travel 354 million miles or 570 million km.
Travel time robot is expected to 8.5 months to get to Mars. Couriosity will spend a minimum of 2 years for this mission.
This robot is about the size of a car weighing about 1 ton. Nuclear energy into propulsion. This robot has seven feet, at the end there is a drill to drill the soil and rocks on Mars.
