You won’t be building a base or churning out units, but rather maneuvering your few commander-led squads around the map (likely as a single group) and beating up the beasties that stand between you and your mission objectives. Your goals may entail capturing a particular structure, recovering a stolen object, or even defeating an end-level boss(!). How’s that for defying genre conventions?

What seems to be a very blurry and unclear teaser really draws questions as to whether the teaser is a joke or even if Infinity Ward rushed the teaser because of the poor quality of the video itself. Whether this is true or not, by the looks of the trailer, Infinity Ward as a long way to go if they want to challenge Battlefield 3 to any competition any time soon. Hope you don’t get mad at the quality.
